KORERO FROM FRASER

We are on the countdown now to the first day of our 2022 school year. Next Tuesday and Wednesday we will welcome and settle all of the 400+ new students to RJHS with our returning students joining us from Thursday on. I am sure there are lots of excited and nervous students ahead of the start of the year as well as lots of young people super keen to catch up with their friends and of course get back into learning.

Getting off to a positive start is really important for staff and students. You can help us out by making sure all of our young people arrive proudly in perfect uniform and have all the required stationery and device.

If riding a bike, walking, scootering or catching a bus is a transport mode being used by the young person in your house it is important also to make sure they know how to get here safely and how long it will take to get here so they arrive stress free, in one piece and on time! We love how many of our young people get themselves to school. It is a great way to get some fresh air, socialise with friends and minimises the traffic in and around school making it a safer place for everyone.
