KORERO FROM MIRANDA
Kia ora Rototuna e te Whānau,
It has been an exciting last two weeks for our school community. It was good to connect with so many families over the last fortnight at Whānau conferences to share the progress your students have made this year.
Our celebrations and showcases have been an opportunity to recognise and acknowledge some of the wonderful gifts and talents our young people have. I have enjoyed seeing the amazing art and technology displays and celebrating our prizewinners at prize giving. Congratulations to everyone who has been involved in these events. A special thanks to our staff and students who put in the extra hours make this all happen.
As I write this message, I am sending best wishes to all our students who have recently completed the numeracy and literacy common assessment activities and to all our students who are now moving into NCEA exams. I appreciate how our staff and students have pulled together and continue to work hard with a focus on finishing the year well.
To our students who are leaving us this year, go well. We are wishing you all the best and we can’t wait to see you take flight and hear about the amazing things you are doing in the world.
To our staff who are leaving us, we wish you all the best on your next adventures and sincere thanks for the amazing work you have done.
Finally
Stay well.
Stay safe.
