Message From Hamilton City Council

Road Safety

Hamilton City Council wants to remind all students/families that need to cross Borman Road to please only cross at safe locations. It has been brought to our attention that students are crossing Borman Road in areas that are unsafe.

Please discuss safe routes to school with your students, including road crossings. Safe crossing points may mean walking slightly further to a safe location to cross at traffic lights or at least a refuge island.

Service Academy

Pathways Update

Our Service Academy students rolled up their sleeves and got to work, preparing the ANZAC crosses for the upcoming commemoration.

They took pride in ensuring the crosses would look their best, and their efforts were greatly appreciated by the Hamilton RSA president. Beyond the practical work, the students gained valuable knowledge about the RSA and the meaning of ANZAC Day, making this a truly worthwhile endeavor.

We received an excellent update from the University of Auckland, with close to 140 of our Year 13 students in attendance. Students gained valuable insights into the university's offerings, entry requirements, scholarships, and accommodation options. This was particularly beneficial for students interested in Health Science pathways.
