Rototuna High Schools

KORERO FROM MIRANDA

Kia ora Rototuna Whānau,

Welcome to Week 5 of the school year! Things have been busy over the past week with Wānanga Ako Open Evening, RHS Sports Day and finalising students Semester One programmes.

Our open evening to bring parents and teachers together to talk about learning in Wānanga Ako was well attended. Your feedback from the evening indicated that you really appreciated the opportunity to connect with your student’s teachers. We will look at providing more opportunities for these connections as the year progresses. Over the past week, teachers have been working with students to lock in their learning and assessment plans for the first half of this year. Please make contact with your student’s whānau advisor if you have any questions about this work.

On another note, thank you for taking the time to complete the survey sharing your thinking about the satellite campus. I will collate this information and share it back to you when it is ready.

Until then stay safe at Alert level 2 and best wishes.

Ngā mihi,

Miranda Makin
