Progress Reports

Progress Reports are being sent on Friday 28 March.

Please see Miranda’s opening address in this newsletter which gives a detailed breakdown of what you can expect to find in the progress reports for your young person. Along with each progress report you will find an NCEA summary and the NCEA standards your young person is entered into which are still to be assessed.

In our covering email, in the progress report, we are also asking for some feedback on how useful the progress reports are via a Google Form. Please take the time to answer the short survey to help us modify the progress reports to be of the most benefit to you in supporting your young person and their success at school.

Message From The Board

Message From The Board

The RHS School Board would like to inform you that, due to the continued growth of our school and the desire to ensure our community is well represented, the Board is considering an increase of the number of parent-elected board members from 5, which is the current number of parent-elected trustees, to 7 at the next election.

This proposed change reflects the growth in our student population and the increasing diversity of our school community. With more parent voices involved, we hope to ensure that more perspectives are heard and that decisions made by the board best reflect the needs and wishes of our community.

We welcome feedback on this proposal, which can be sent to communication@rhs.school.nz by Friday 11 April.

We also encourage all interested parents to consider participating in the upcoming school board election in September to help shape the future of our school. More details about the election process will be shared in the coming weeks.
