Band Slam
Recently our very own Junior School rock band 'Orange Stripes' competed at 'Band Slam'. There were 20 bands vying for the top, and all groups were of an immensely high calibre.
Orange Stripes played and performed really well and received impressive placings:
2nd • Best Drummer - Norberto III Husenia
2nd • Best Guitarist - Lester Lei
2nd • Best Male Vocalist - Jarvis Hamilton
1st • Best Original Song - Orange Stripes
The band were super stoked and had a great time...they worked hard over the last several weeks and the rewards were well deserved. Huge thanks goes to our itinerant music teacher, Nathan Aish, for guiding them in their success.
