Makuhari Exchange Students
Following the exchange visit from students from Makuhari Junior High School in Japan, a group of six Year 8 students are going to Tokyo in September on a two-week exchange.
Pictured are three of the six students, from left to right, Savannah Bourne, Elliot Riddell and Lucy Main, who were at Bunnings Te Rapa a few weekends ago doing a sausage sizzle to help fundraise for their trip.
Last weekend some of the students (and their whānau) were again back on the tongs at Mitre 10 Ruakura.
The students are planning another sausage sizzle for May 6, and other fundraisers for Term 2 and 3! Well done to these students for all their hard mahi and entrepreneurship.
