End of Year Expectations

The Rāroan —

It is an exciting time here at Rāroa as we draw closer to the end of the year. Students get a really good deal as they enjoy a range of opportunities, in and outside of the classroom. Although students love the round off of their time at Rāroa, it can be an unsettling time for them. Anxiety about next year and changing friends amongst other things come into play. Emotions can get the better of individuals and this can affect behaviours.

It is important that students give it their very best, right up till the end of the year. It is important to note that our expectations around behaviour is high. If students can not operate effectively in school, they will not be able to go on trips outside of the school.

If students can not socialise and communicate positively, showing kindness and consideration, they will not be able to attend the Year 8 Formal. This includes online communication.

Please share this message with your child/ren and help maintain the high level of behaviour that we expect from Rāroa Students.
