School Athletics Day ~ 2020

The Raroan —

On a picture perfect Tuesday, Raroa made our way down to Nairnville park for a day full of Fun and Festivities for our annual Athletics Day.

Raki, Rawhiti and Uru were there to remove the stranglehold that Tonga had on the Athletics Trophy.

A sea of Red, White, Black and Green made its way around the ground as the House March and Chant began with Raki taking first points via the Facebook vote. Sunblock was slip~slap~slopped on and the students went on their way. It was smiles all round as they competed in Discus, Vortex, Long Jump, Shot Put and the 100m and 200m sprints.

It was just amazing to see everyone in such good spirits, the laughter could be heard for miles and the dancing seemed to never stop.

All students competed admirably, with huge effort put in all round.

Congratulations to Tonga and the following overall winners of each year.
