The Rāroa Fury travelled to Walter-Nash Stadium to take on the best intermediate girls' basketball teams in the Wellington region.

The girls played with passion and pride and after a bit of a shock at the physicality of basketball at this level, won their last 4 games in a row. They showed grit, determination and were fantastic at lifting each other up when some were having a challenging time hitting shots.

The girl’s 4 wins from 6 games landed them 5th place of the 10 teams.
