Our vision is to use IT to enhance teaching and learning opportunities and prepare students for their future.

Over the next week all students will go through the internet agreement with teachers. Parents will be sent a Google form that outlines this agreement. Parents will need to complete this Google form to indicate that they have had a conversation with their child. The agreement sets out 'conditions of use' and in order to use any device at school students must adhere to these conditions.

Throughout the year teachers will be integrating digital citizenship into classroom programmes and teaching students to use digital devices appropriately and safely.

Digital devices such as a phones can be a powerful learning tool which can increase engagement and access to learning. However, we are aware of the risks and in some cases dependence involved. Teachers are working alongside students and may restrict use when necessary. Devices are not to be used at all during break times.
