A small portion of the Te Rangatahi rōpu ventured out to Crofton Downs Primary School this term.

The purpose of the trip was to showcase our newly learned haka, waiata and poi. These components make up key parts in our bracket as we prepare for St Brigids and Te Ora Atamira, Kapa Haka festivals.

The students got to communicate with the younger tamariki and form some tuakana - teina relationships. They introduced themselves, played lots of kēmu and enjoyed sharing their hard mahi with others.
