There is one more week of the chocolate and soap selling competition. Although money is coming in, we are yet to reach the stage of making any profit after the products have been paid for. So we implore you to round up the cash or pay online so we can be in the black.

Thank you to all of you helping your young people to raise money for the school, and to all the students who have already returned their money. We really appreciate it.

All money collected is to be brought to the library before school. For every box sold, your child goes into the draw for The Chase competition at chocolate assembly on Fridays. Their name stays in the draw for the whole length of the competition - until Friday 28 May. Students whose parents have made a donation also go into the draw.

Teachers will draw for any child who is absent for the draw. The 3 top individual and class prize winners will be announced at assembly after selling is finished.

Individual Prizes: There will be a number of prizes that may include a combination of the following: laptops, Bluetooth Speakers, Beats earphones, Smart Trackers, Tablets, sports equipment and vouchers.

Paying online

If you would prefer to pay for the chocolate or soap online, please either pay into the school account (12-3223-0077412-00) making sure you add your child's name and CHOC or email accounts@raroa.school.nz to say you would like to pay via Kindo.

Each afternoon students will be given the opportunity to collect an additional box of chocolates/soap to sell and therefore enter the draw again. Money must be returned for at least one box of product before new boxes are given out.

And just a reminder - each box of chocolate contains 36 Whittaker’s SLABS (Peanut, Creamy Milk, Hokey Pokey, Toasted Coconut and Almond Gold) and each box of soap contains 24 bars of Ecostore soap (choices of Grapefruit & Mint, Lemongrass or Pear). Students may sell both chocolate and soap. Each of the bars of chocolate will sell for $2; each of the bars of soap will sell for $2.50. Therefore the total price of the box of chocolate is $72 and the box of soap is $60
