400 plus Year 6 students visiting for a taste of school life at Rāroa.

We have thoroughly enjoyed hosting the Year 6 students from across our 8 contributing schools who have visited Rāroa throughout the week. During their visit they were able to look around the school, join in during break time activities and get a taste of the learning programmes on offer in our Design Production Education space. 

Not only have we welcomed over 400 students into our kura but we have also had over 100 Rāroa Student Ambassadors involved. These students relished the opportunity to show off our amazing school by taking tours, helping out in DPE or by being a Year 6 group leader. The week was a huge success thanks to the support of these wonderful students. 

At Rāroa, we are extremely committed to ensuring the smoothest of transitions for all new students and this week has been a real highlight for us.
