Under the new orange light system in us running an event, numbers are not restricted but vaccine passes will be required on the night. We acknowledge that this contradicts the information that was sent yesterday but we have been advised of the system changes today.

Subject: Year 8 Leavers Celebration

Kia ora parents of our Year 8 tamariki,

Over the last two years, our Year 8s have had many of their Rāroa highlights interrupted or cancelled due to Covid restrictions and it is important that we suitably farewell our Year 8s. We are extremely committed to ensuring that we can host this celebration for them (and us).

Although the evening will look slightly different to those we have held in the past, it will remain an awesome formal celebration to farewell our Year 8 students in style. We look forward to all of our Year 8s attending.

Time: 6-8pm

Cost: $10 (Payment due Friday 10 December)

We have reduced the cost of the event due to not having a sit down catered meal. Students are invited to bring cash on the night as there will be hot food, drinks and snackson sale.

We will be utilising our hall space and Te Manawa for the event to accommodate distancing requirements. There will be dancing (disco style) and a photo booth to capture the special friendship groups and memories.
