Congratulations to the following students who gained outstanding results in the latest ICAS Writing exam. This year, the students had 30 minutes to plan, write and edit a persuasive text. 

Tuhina Sambhus, Finn McKenzie, Angus Mudie and Pia Sutherland all achieved High Distinction Award. They are in the top 1% of their year group in New Zealand. An awesome achievement!
Ten students gained Distinction Award. They are the next 10% of NZers in their year group. Congratulations to Izzi Anderson, Flynn Cursons, Jan Munro, Samuel Smith, Arabella Tries, Lola Wood, Evie Wright, Cally Cheng-Su, Hana Kells and Anuha Som. An incredible 18 students gained a Credit Award; these students are the next 25% of NZers in their year group. Another 11 students achieved a Merit Award, putting them in the next 10% of NZ students.We are so proud of all those who sat the exam and are excited to keep on celebrating our Raroa writers in so many ways.

Also congratulations to Tuhina Sambhus who sat the ICAS Digital Technology exam externally and scored a High Distinction. This is the fourth consecutive year she has scored a High Distinction in this subject. Well done, Tuhina!
