Welcome back to term 4
It was wonderful to see all the students back at the start of this week and hear some of their holiday stories.
The term has started well and I have seen some exciting learning. I know that many teams have evenings planned later in this term to share the students' learning with their families.
It was exciting to see the 'Tournament of Minds' team do so well at the national competition during the holidays with a close runner up placing.
The building project that included rooms 13-16 and the DPE area is completely finished with all scaffolding and workmen no longer on site.
There has been a start on the two new roll growth classrooms situated on the old turf. These will be completed at the end of the year ready to be occupied at the beginning of 2017.
We have another busy term 4 ahead of us and for our year 8 students a final chance to make the most of what Raroa Intermediate has to offer from their academic studies to a large variety of activities.
We look forward to a focused, achievement filled and fun term.
Have a great weekend.
