Raroa Year 8 student Kate Apperley and Cody (Call of Duty) her horse, represented Raroa at the Solway Interschool Dressage Competition in Masterton recently, competing against many other Wellington schools. They had a good day and tried really hard. 

 They had to complete two dressage tests. The pair got off to a great start with a score of 64% and 3rd place in their first test, but unfortunately the wind picked up for their second test. Coming in  9th in their 2nd test was a credible result. 

Overall it was a great day and Kate was glad to be able to represent Raroa Intermediate.
