End of Term 2

The Raroan —

As this is the last newsletter for Term Two, I would like to thank you for all your support during term two  and wish you an enjoyable time with your children during the next two weeks.

It has been a busy term and students are ready for a well earned break. I am sure all our students are looking forward to a few sleep-ins and a chance to recharge their batteries in preparation for next term. Term Three commences on Monday 25th of July. As we approach the holiday we celebrate our students' successes with written reports. The mid-year report shares achievements in relation to National Standards and includes a summary of achievement in reading, writing and mathematics. Written reports are just one part of our communication with families and we hope you have had many other opportunities to be part of your child's learning. Student led learning conferences will take place on 3rd and 4th August next term.

The loss of the school hall this term has had quite an impact and really highlighted how widely it is used across the school and beyond. It is an extremely valuable asset. We will be very pleased to have it back early next term and hope for fine weather to expedite this.
