This week a group of Mōhio students were lucky enough to visit the US Coastguard Vessel, the Polar Star.

The ship is on its return trip from Antartica, where it completed its mission of restocking the American Base. This was the first time the Polar Star has visited Wellington, and the crew gave us a behind the scenes tour of the boat which was thoroughly enjoyable.
