The overnighter adventures continue - Word from the Tumuaki/Principal

The Rāroan —

Kia ora e te Whānau,

Our overnight camps continue to be a tremendous success. I would like to express our gratitude to all the students who have participated with such enthusiasm and make the experience so memorable. Moreover, I would like to extend my appreciation to our teachers for their tireless efforts in organizing and supervising each overnighter. Without their dedication, these trips would not have been possible. I would also like to acknowledge and thank those parents who have joined their students for this adventure.

As you may be aware, at Rāroa our vision is for all students to ‘ASPIRE’. For those students who joined us at the beginning of the year, they will now be well entrenched into an environment that supports and encourages them to reach their full potential and prepares them for their futures.

A – Actively Involved: seeking & creating opportunities, taking risks, collaborating

S – Skilful & Inquisitive thinkers: thinking critically, being creative, being reflective

P – Persistent: showing resilience, showing commitment, having stamina

I – Independent: organization, taking initiative, controlling your environment

R – Respectful: of yourself, of others, of the environment

E – Enjoying ourselves: enthusiastic, confident, happy to be at Raroa!

Thank you once again for your support and for encouraging your child to do their best.

Ngā mihi nui
