When we heard that the Khandallah School Chess Club were looking for some games, the inaugural Khandallah/Raroa Chess Meet was underway!

Many games of chess were played between the two schools over the two-hour meet in Week 6. There was great sportsmanship, much concentration and laughter, and new friendships formed. Thanks to Khandallah School for joining us, and thanks to the wonderful Raroa student volunteers for sharing their passion for chess and making our guests feel at home.We look forward to the next meet in 2023!
