We'd like to share some writing with you from some of our students: Evelyn Watt (R3), Lincey Jiang (R6), Scarlett Jordan & Mia Fraser (R13), Lottie Davidson (R14) and Ellie Palmer (R20). Their inspiration came from the poem 'Identity' by Julio Noboa Polanco.
Here is a teaser...an excerpt from 'Identity' by Evelyn:
They can be the crystals,
A treasure to be held,
But shattered to fragments when struck down.
I’d rather be a rock,
Solid and unbroken,
Commander of cliffs and mountain ranges.
They can be the crystals,
The star in the darkness,
But pursued by unwelcome gazes.
I’d rather be a rock,
Layered with history,
Reigning over the briny ocean winds.
