We have 21 students (three teams of seven) preparing for the Wellington Regional Tournament of Minds which is being held next Saturday at Hutt Intermediate School.

Part of the Tournament requires the students to make a 10 minute dramatic presentation which is their response to a very complex challenge. They have been working on this challenge for the last 6 weeks. Part of it is that they have NOT been allowed to get feedback/advice from anyone! Including their teachers Mrs Dunn and Ms Sime.
As the deadline approaches, we all know how stressful the final few days can be for these students, they are from many different classes, so they have been working through the lunch breaks to have time together.

The tasks include: having to complete sets, costumes, scripts, paperwork, working models and to practice their dramatic presentation.  

Families are  invited to attend the tournament which is on Saturday, 10 September, at Hutt Intermediate School, our children are presenting at 10am, 11.30am & noon, presentations are 15 minutes long.
