Whakaute Museum Trip

Ruby Che and Millie Jackson (Room 21) —

For our new Pākiki this term we are learning about Aotearoa NZ history. We went to the Wellington Museum to learn about some of our local Wellington history.

Later, we went to Te Papa to do a scavenger hunt where we could interact with the exhibits.

At the Wellington Museum we enjoyed looking at all the displays that were around, watching the short films, and also doing the work sheet the teachers assigned us.

We enjoyed all the amazing exhibits in Te Papa, like the Gallipoli Scale of War, Blood Earth Fire and the earthquake house which is in the Quake Braker exhibit.

Thanks to the awesome two parents who came along with us and made the trip possible. Thanks also to Lesley and Miss Mark who made this trip possible.
