Going Out in Style - Word from the Tumuaki/Principal

The Rāroan —

Kia ora e te whānau,

As we countdown the days until the end of the school year, we are by no means slowing down the pace at which we operate, delivering awesome activities to keep students motivated and engaged right up to the last day. Next week’s elective week is an example of this and should be a great week. It is a wonderful way to conclude and celebrate the year. It is also important to recognise the core purpose, which is to offer a programme that will develop a broad range of lifelong interests that contribute to students health and wellbeing, strengthen their social and community connections and provide intellectual stimulation, enjoyment and fulfillment. A special thank you to the parents who have stepped up to help with different adventures. Your support makes many of the opportunities possible.

End of Year Reports

Expect to find your child’s end of year school report comment published at the beginning of Week 10. The Senior Leadership are in the process of reading through teachers’ comments and I can honestly say that it brings me such joy reading what teachers have said about their students. Please take the time to read them and celebrate the achievements of your child and pass on the sentiments expressed by teachers.

Ngā mihi nui koutou,

Stephen Eames

Principal / Tumuaki.
