Phase 3 Omicron update

As you will be aware, today we moved to Phase 3. The key change being that at Phase 3, only household contacts of confirmed cases are required to self-isolate. The isolation period will be 10 days. All other contacts of COVID-positive people are not required to isolate, but they will need to monitor for symptoms.

Make sure your child always has access to reading material

If you have to stay away from school or isolate at home there is a really good way to ensure sure your child can still read. A public library card is a magic passport to free e-books and audiobooks for them. You will never have overdues and you don't even have to visit the library!

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS AND ASSESSMENTS FOR SCHOOLS (ICAS) 2021 Result

In 2021, a number of our students sat the ICAS exams; these assessments aim to provide additional challenge and extension for high-achieving students. Last year was the last year for ICAS exams at Rāroa as we will be moving to a New Zealand based assessment opportunity. Details to follow later in the year.
