From the Principal ...

We have had an extremely positive start to the school year. It is lovely to have our year 8s back and to welcome our new students. Thank you to all the parents who attended Tuesday’s powhiri. We are pleased that we had the opportunity to welcome you to Rāroa alongside your child.

Students have quickly settled into their teams and classes. There is a positive buzz to the school with lots of smiles and laughter. Our teachers and our entire staff are looking forward to providing wonderful learning opportunities for your child and have exciting programmes organised, including the overnighters starting in week 3 and athletics day next Thursday.

Next week you will get the opportunity to meet with the teacher of your child. The senior leadership team will be available to assist with any additional questions you may have. Please do not hesitate to make contact with one of us.
