Ruahine Kindergarten Association is a true community based, not-for-profit organisation with a child-centered approach. We hold tamariki at the heart of everything we do across our 26 services. If you are a registered and certificated pouako, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the Ruahine team and contribute to the success of our newest Early Learning Centre!

Ko te kaupapa | About the role:|
Directly across from Linton Camp School, and next-door to Ruahine Linton Kindergarten, we are proud to add Ruahine Linton Camp Early Learning to our kete of services. Catering for tamariki aged 0-6 years, we will provide Linton with a high-quality Early Learning service that caters for younger children and for whānau who require longer opening hours for their tamariki.

We’re seeking fabulous permanent full-time pouako to join the team. You’ll be working with children of all ages to create a learning environment that is stimulating, supportive, and inclusive. Hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday on a rostered basis between 7.15am and 5.30pm, working with mixed ages. A relevant ECE teaching qualification, practicing certificate, current first aid (including unit standards 6401, 6402) and solid IT skills are a must.
