Ministry of Inspiration

STEAMS Holiday Programmes in JULY at Nelson Intermediate!

SIGN UP FAST!

All workshops run by Ministry of Inspiration are based on the STEAMS concept of learning where all subjects are combined into one immensely creative programme! MOI is offering THREE choices of Holiday Programmes for the JULY School Holidays at Nelson Intermediate. The three different holiday programmes are: Art and Engineering, Cooking and Science, and Jewelry Making. The different tickets will show up when you click to register. The courses run Monday-Wednesday then Thursday-Friday at Nelson Intermediate School.

Art and Engineering: The MON-WED course is specifically designed for 7-9 year olds who are interested in design engineering a mini golf hole! Students will be using their imagination to create a mini golf hole while learning physics of motion concepts. In addition, several engineering challenges will be tested! The THURS-FRI course is for 9-13 year olds who are interested in woodworking and laser cutting! They will be making a pingpong gun and tape dispenser! They will also use the laser cutter and do some engineering challenges.

Cooking and Science: This course is designed for ages 6-12 who are interested in learning how to cook Mexican, Italian, and Thai dishes and learn some science, art, and geography of the regions. This course runs, MON to WED or THURS to FRI. Recipes will besimilar for each section.

Jewellery Making: This course is designed strictly for ages 12+ who are interested in learning how to make different types of jewellery from silver clay, to stamping, to recycled materials. this course runs only Mon-Wed.

Please select your ticket(s) carefully. Eventbrite is confusing!
ALL students must bring morning tea, lunch, and a water bottle. Students must wear closed shoes and have long hair tied back. Please have your child wear clothes that are not precious. Cooking students need to only bring a small snack and also containers to take food home.

The Food Factory 1 Day Only Holiday Program

Our next School Holiday Program is themed “Remembering Summer”. It is full of beach-themed treats. There is one class only, maximum of 22 participants.
