New Teachers for 2021
We welcome three new teachers to the Saint Paul's teaching team for next year. Their mini bios will provide a brief introduction. Students will meet these teachers when we have transition visits.
Roseanne Fletcher
I studied teaching at Victoria University in Wellington, and have taught in Invercargill and Timaru in both primary and secondary schools. In 2020 my husband and I have had the adventure of a lifetime, travelling in Europe during a pandemic, and I certainly have some interesting stories about the places we have seen and the experiences we have had, including being locked down in an abandoned village in Spain for 3 months! It is so good to be back home in wonderful New Zealand. I love Nelson, and I'm looking forward to enjoying the beautiful mountains, rivers and beaches here. I am super excited to start teaching at St Paul's School, and I look forward to becoming part of the community here.
Claudia Green
I was born and raised in Nelson before moving to Dunedin to study a Physical Education degree, followed by a Diploma in Teaching through Massey University. I love spending time outdoors and keeping active. Playing sport, particularly cricket, is a big part of my life and has offered me wonderful opportunities. I hope to share my love of sport with the students by contributing to the school sporting community.
I am passionate about learning and education and grateful to be following the career pathway of teaching. I am motivated and committed to building strong, positive relationships with the students as well as supporting and encouraging them to be life long learners. I thoroughly look forward to my new journey here at Saint Paul’s!
Nikki Campion
Kia ora, my name is Nikki Campion. Before moving to Nelson in 2017, my husband and I were born and raised in Hokitika on the beautiful West Coast. This was where we began raising our three children: Hunter, Cooper and Milah. The two boys attend St Paul’s already and Milah will start school next year.
We love living in Richmond and are so lucky to experience the many opportunities that Nelson has to offer our family.
Some of my hobbies include: spending time with friends and family, bbqs, enjoying the great outdoors and watching sports.
I am so excited to be a part of the St Paul’s community and I look forward to meeting you.
