Takahe Home Learning - Week 2, Term 2
Lets see what we've been up to this week!
Takahe class students have been very busy this week with lots of fun activities to celebrate easter and ANZAC day! They've been baking, painting, drawing, creating, biking, dancing, walking, conducting science experiments, filming videos and coding! Check out the photos below :)
I'm so proud of how the students have been navigating technology and the new challenge of home learning. They are now becoming experts with google classroom, making copies of documents and sharing them with the teacher - which are all handy skills for their future learning at school.
On our morning zoom meetings we enjoy sharing our learning such as arts, crafts or baking. This Friday we had a fun dress up theme and a Kahoot quiz! Our pets sometimes feature in the meetings - Mrs Guthrie's puppy Nika has been a regular visitor along with Hunters dog and Paige's fluffy cat!
It's wonderful to see so much learning being done - both inside and outside the home, making the most of this beautiful Autumn weather!
Finally a BIG thank you to all the Takahe parents who have been so patient and supportive during this time. It hasn't been easy, but it's lovely to still be able to see the children's smiling faces and know they are enjoying precious family time. Have a blessed weekend everyone!
