Pukeko Press Release

Emma Greep —

In the Junior School we have discovered that learning can happen wherever we are - including outside in nature!

Pukeko Class have loved being outdoors with their families, enjoying the sunshine with plenty of walks and bike rides. Environmental art has been very popular for these children, using treasures found in nature such as leaves, flowers and acorns, to create masterpieces in their gardens.

While being outside, Pukeko Class have been exploring seasons, shadows and even writing recipes for magical potions! Although we are not yet able to travel, this has not stopped these children from making their own 'adventures' - camping outside and building huts to sleep in. What a busy start to Term 2 for Pukeko Class!
