Welcome to our new Kereru Class teacher Matt Hooper who has joined us for term 4

Hi to all,

I'm really looking forward to beginning my time teaching at Saint Paul's. I have recently returned from teaching for the last two years in London, where I came back because of Covid 19 pressures and border closures. My wife and I have loved getting settled in Nelson over these last few months. 

I'm originally from Dunedin and taught there for two years. I enjoy getting into the outdoors, running, camping and doing tramps. I spent a lot of time going to shows and musicals overseas and loved going on adventures, exploring new countries and places. Lastly, I always like playing sports and have recently enjoyed getting into reading a good book. 

Looking forward to meeting you all and becoming a part of this school community.
