Sincerity in Gratitude

Maureen Phillips —

Last Sunday's Gospel reading from Luke was 'the story of the grateful leper';

"And one of the them, realizing he had been healed, returned, glorifying God in a loud voice; and he fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him" (Luke 17: 15-16).

It is a reminder that sincere gratitude is a rare virtue indeed. At Saint Paul's we remind our students of the need to be filled always with gratitude for God's unconditional love. We also talk about thanking those who serve us and love us with their generous service. For all members of our school community who contribute to the success of our school and who care for our young ones, we give thanks to you and thanks to God for the gift that you are.
