A number of families are reporting that the Gastro bug has hit their family. This is having a widespread effect across the school which is resulting in a substantial number of absences with more than 10 children away in one class alone. Please respect our staff and children by keeping your child home until well and for 48 hours after the last episode of diarrhoea or vomiting

Symptoms appear after 1–3 days after contact. Vomiting and diarrhoea last up to 48 hours and the child remains contagious for 48 hours after the last episode of diarrhoea or vomiting.
