Our Special Character

Megan Leslie - June 22, 2020

Enrolling your child in a Catholic School

When you choose to enrol your child/children at Saint Paul’s they will receive a catholic education which includes beginning and ending the day with class prayer, daily religious education lessons, participating in weekly liturgy, termly class visits to morning mass at out Parish church and participating in celebrating important feast days throughout the year. We also support the students who are participating in the Sacramental programme.

We have four Charisms that are taken from the writings of Saint Paul. We focus on one of these values each term.

“Dare to Care” – St Paul preaches about the love and care for others.

“Keep on keeping on” – resilience – St Paul never gave up.

“Together we achieve”- working as a team, community

Have Faith, believe!- believe in God, believe in yourself, (gifts and talents)

This all fits seamlessly along side the NZ School Curriculum.

Our school chaplain Fr. Michael visits every class once a term.

We have an active band that play both liturgical and popular music.

We have a youth conference of the St Vincent de Paul Society. (Young Vinnies)

Our “Special Character” is an integral part of who we are at Saint Paul’s School and it is our combined roles as Parents, Teachers and Students who are responsible for its continuing presence in our lives. It is our reason for being open for instruction.
