Our Friends group have been very active in 2015 raising money through quiz night, calendar art and more! 

While adding to the fund for our proposed Hall the Friends also have a running account where they contribute toward 'extras' that adds value to experience for the children who attend now. 

This year they have paid for doors from Piwakawaka into the shared junior outdoor space. This has linked our junior classes together as a transition space for new entrants through to Year 1. The outdoor equipment for the outdoor space was provided by the Friends as well. 

They have invested in a ki-o-rahi set for the senior syndicate. This is a fast paced ball game a cross between soccer and dodgeball.

They paid over a thousand dollars to back plant native shrubs and trees into the areas we have developed along the south side of the school. 

The Hall plans have been finalised. The Friends helped considerably with the design stage and the Hall fund has taken us to this crucial next step. 

All-in-all a fantastic year for our Friends group.
