Parent Evening With Chris Duthie-Jung - Tonight

Chris began presenting these sessions last year.  Primarily he came to run sessions for families new to the school.  Following the first of these sessions he received the request to run a follow up session which he did willingly.  Next week he will run a session for parents of our New Entrants and these sessions have been advertised through the Kakapo teaching team.  

Last year Chris presented to a lovely group of our parents who enjoyed their time listening to him.  He has agreed to run this third evening as a follow on.  He has assured us that he will tailor the session so that those who came to the sessions last year will hear new ideas and those who are coming for the first time will equally enjoy the presentation.

I have heard Chris speak often and always enjoy his lively sessions.  It never fails to amaze me how we can carry with us a number of ideas learned in our childhood, believing them to be Church teaching, only to find that these understandings are a little out of date.

I encourage you to pop along to school on Monday night, 11 March 7pm to hear Chris speak.  Coffee and cake to follow.  Bring a friend with you too.
