Congratulations to the Seatoun School chess teams who competed in the Wellington Central Regional Chess Tournament on Wednesday 25th May.

I was impressed with the students who were great ambassadors for the school. They all demonstrated sportsmanship, respect for other players and a wonderful, positive attitude. I was proud to accompany them to this special event.

Finally, I would like to thank the parents and caregivers for volunteering their time to accompany the students. You made the event possible and the students had a great time. Ngā mihi nui.
