Rats

Te Kura o Kirikiri Tatangi Seatoun School —

This week Alistair Henshaw from Predator Free Wellington came to our Enviro meeting to talk to children about identifying the different kinds of rats that we are still trying to eradicate from our environment. We learned the reasons for identification and what the next steps are for the project. We were shown some brilliant images of rat dissection and understood again why this is important for the project. We will be involved with the project going forward by means of chew cards which we will place out and report back if there is any new evidence of rats on the peninsula as their focus switches to phase two and different areas of Wellington.
