Chip Packet Project NZ

Thank you for dropping off your large, clean chippie packets at our recycling station outside the library. These are being turned into blankets and pillows for people in need across Wellington.
The number of homeless people is sadly increasing and the demand for these blankets is high.

We welcome these items from you, however, making the blankets is incredibly time consuming, therefore we would only like to receive the large, empty packets that have been washed and dried.Many thanks for your efforts!
