Enviro news - Gardening Club is back up and running!

Our veggie garden has been busy growing all summer and we spent the last couple of weeks tidying up our onion patch! Karen will be able to use the onions in her enrichment classes this term so we hung the mature onions up in the shed to dry. The tomatoes are also attracting our attention! Our tidying opened up the exciting evidence that our kumara are in fact alive and growing beneath the surface! We know that Māori who lived in this area successfully grew kumara and we are attempting to replicate this.
