The Enviro team have been meeting to discuss how we can safely run our enviro programme under the Red Traffic Light settings and plan to start this up very soon.
We have been keeping bottle tops out of landfill successfully for over a year now and some of these can be recycled. However, we are currently exploring options with the Wellington City Council Waste Education Centre and Sustainability Trust for recycling the plastic milk bottle tops and are suspending our school collection of these at this time. Alternatively, you can continue to collect these at home and recycle through Sustainability Trust.
