Steeple Rock 23 June 2022

From The Principal June 23

Matariki  by Te Kura o Kirikiri Tatangi - Seatoun School

This is the last day of the school week with New Zealand’s first Matariki public holiday tomorrow, Mānawatia a Matariki.
It was tremendous to see so many of our whānau at last week's Matariki celebration and enjoy the event with you all. Thank you again to everyone that made this possible and to the staff that put so much time into the planning and preparation. This was the first evening event for a long time and it is exciting to think that inviting parents into the school is becoming easier.
Thank you also for your attendance at this week's 3 Way Conferences. Taking part in these shows you are an active participant in your childs/rens education.

Warm Clothes
We certainly have had some cold weather this week and it is essential that children wear enough clothes to school each day. Children need layers, starting with a thermal underlayer and then two more, plus a warm jacket. Please spend the time to name all these clothes!

Lost Scooter
Does your child have a scooter that looks like this? If yes, you may have the wrong one at home! One of our students has lost her one and this one was left in the rack. Please name all scooters that come to school!
