Summer Reading Challenge starts soon!!

It may not feel like it but we are nearing the summer and the 1st December marks the start of the Summer Reading Challenge! Wellington City Libraries runs a brilliant challenge across all of the city's museums and libraries and we encourage and prepare all of our children to join in with this. In preparation we would love all children to be aware of their library card numbers and pins so that they are able to reserve, borrow and review books for the challenge.

Now would be the time to register your family for a library card if you have not yet done so. This can be done very easily online here or by visiting a branch with some photo ID.

Junior children year 2-4 - please write their library card numbers in the back of their homework notebooks, Reading Rockets or spelling books.

Senior children - please take a photo of their card on their device or email it to their school email accounts

Your PIN is usually the last 4 digits of the phone number of whoever set up the account. Please note this with their card numbers.
