Read-A-Thon

It is tremendous to hear the students enthusiastically talking bout the Read-A-Thon. Thank you for checking in with your children and seeing how they're going against their goals and collecting sponsorship. This is our largest fundraiser for the year and all funds go to replacing ageing data projectors throughout the school.

REVISED and Updated ICT User Agreement - will be coming home for you to discuss with your child/ren and sign

Through our conversations with learners about this agreement, an alarming theme is emerging regarding both the prevalence of online games and what is being said (spoken or typed) between players.  It is extremely important that you monitor closely what your child is doing and saying in these games. Children are openly talking about poor language and unsavoury conversations being held in the virtual world.

Pink Shirt Day next Friday

As you know, Seatoun School strongly promotes an anti-bullying environment and our KiVa programme is central to this. Next Friday is national pink shirt day. We hope there are as many students and staff as possible are dressed in pink next Friday.
