Well done to all of the girls who competed in the inaugural ISSA Girls Football Tournament at English Park this afternoon.

Each team in the tournament represented a country who is competing in the FIFA Women's World Cup. We had two Year 5/6 teams representing the Netherlands and Argentina, and two Year 7/8 teams representing Japan and Portugal.

All of the teams competed very well and particular congratulations go to our 'Netherlands' team, who came first equal in the Year 5/6 tournament.

We even had a very special guest, Football Ferns goalkeeper Victoria Esson, there to present the awards.
