Wheels Day
A reminder about the 'Wheels Days' that Year 8 student, Amelia Clarke, has organised for this week as part of her Passion Project. Please see the message from Amelia below.
Hello everyone, I’m Amelia Clarke and for my Passion Project I’m doing a Wheels Day to promote ‘wheels'. My purpose of this event is to raise awareness of how fun wheels are, how good they are for the environment and to encourage safe use of wheels.
This event will take place in Term Four, Week One from Tuesday - Friday ( 17th - 20th October )
On one day during the week, students will be able to bring their ‘wheels’ to the netball courts after they eat. For example they could choose to bring roller skates, skateboards, roller blades, scooters (please do not bring bikes.)
Students will also need to bring their helmet and any other safety gear they require.
During Wheels Day, I am fundraising to donate money for an animal shelter. Can all girls please bring a gold coin donation.
Tuesday 17th October - Years 7 and 8
Wednesday 18th October - Years 1 and 2
Thursday 19th October - Years 3 and 4
Friday 10th October - Years 5 and 6
It’s going to be ‘Wheely fun!’
