Year 1 and 2 Sharing of Learning

It was a pleasure to welcome Year 1 and 2 parents into our classrooms last week, especially with Maths having been a huge focus for us across the year. We had new games and equipment to share and it was delightful that so many brought along a family game to share and show others.

During the session, families engaged in a variety of activities and moved around different classrooms finding new games and creating things from equipment they were familiar with.

These activities are linked to our Let’s Celebrate unit of inquiry, which explores how traditional games and connection-making are ways we get together to unite and grow in learning and sharing fun.
